Recycling is the theme of the Mori no Terrace.
To create a feeling of unity with the Meiji Jingu forest, the wood used in the décor came from domestic sources and trees that had been donated when Meiji Jingu was constructed that had since died. The Meiji Jingu forest concept of "recycle" is exemplified by the store's interior, so be sure to come here for a break after worshipping.
Walk toward the South Gate from the train station and you will immediately come to CAFÉ "Mori no Terrace". The wood finish creates a gentle appearance and the wood deck open terrace is impressive.
The time spent in the shop surrounded by forest seems as if you have visited a forest resort.
The shop seems to be part of the forest and the warmth of the natural wood and the gentle wood smell wafting through creates an open space that is good for relaxing.
The counter and furniture (five types of tables made from zelkova, evergreen oak, camphor, cherry) made from fallen trees from Meiji Jingu create a friendly space where you can relax and unwind.
