HOSPITALITY
At Meiji Kinenkan, hospitality is not an accessory to the ceremony - it is a part of it. The meal is not treated as a break or a separate scene. It flows quietly from the gathering itself, prepared with the same care, timing, and intention.
When we sharea meal
Hospitality extends through every part of the ceremonial experience - including the meal. Dining is not a separate moment. It is prepared as part of the event’s natural flow. The tone of service reflects the purpose of the gathering, with calm, respectful care from start to finish.
Spaces forformal dining
Dining rooms are selected based on the style and intention of the event. Layouts support comfort, movement, and conversation — whether guests are seated in Japanese tatami style or Western arrangements. Each space is arranged not for display, but to support the dignity of the moment being shared.
Booking and languagesupport
Each restaurant has its own reservation number and schedule. Phone reservations are standard. Online booking is available for Sekirei. English support is available on most days, but not guaranteed. International guests are encouraged to contact us with a Japanese speaker if possible. A general inquiry line is available as a fallback.
A seasonal table
Meals are prepared with seasonal awareness. Menus shift with the time of year, using ingredients chosen to reflect the quiet rhythm of each season. This applies to both ceremonial dining and the offerings at the on-site restaurants.
